Update - Allia Homeless Units

P A Collacott & Co have been working for Allia in association with Jimmy's shelter and New Meaning Foundation to help provide shelter for the homeless, six modular units to combat "alarming levels" of homelessness. A really exciting project which we have been delighted to be involved with.

The six homes - each measuring 25 sq m - have been built on land adjacent to Christ the Redeemer Church on Newmarket Road and are based on the Danish concept of a comfortable living space that has a positive impact on well being.

ISO Certification

We have some exciting news!

As our company continues to grow and evolve, we acknowledge that continuous review and improvement of the way we function as a business is critical to our success and to our customers. We have invested considerable time and effort over the last 8 months to quality reviewing our fundamental operations; what we are doing, why we do it, how we do it and more importantly, how we can improve. We are proud and excited to announce we are ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certified.

What does this mean?

ISO 14001 Is the world’s most recognised environmental management system, enabling us to make day to day operations more sustainable. It requires us to have an environmental policy and action plan to manage environmental impact.

ISO 9001 Aims to provide a practical and workable Quality Management System for improving and monitoring all areas of our business. Implementing an effective and robust Quality Management System (QMS) will help us to focus on the important areas of the business and improve efficiency.

ISO 45001 Is the world's international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases.

Update - Chesterton Mill

Since the mid-1980s the 19th century smock mill and its associated buildings have been used by a succession of local businesses for trade, manufacture, consultancy and charitable purposes. PA Collacott are working in association with others to bring this historic building back to its former glory.

The aim is to create a modern, dynamic, flexible and stylish working space to help house the city’s consultants and its burgeoning creative and tech-led businesses, start-ups and freelance communities. As well as offering offices, meeting areas and co-working spaces, the site will house a cafe, bar and urban winery to serve the on-site businesses and the wider community and will have social space for clubs, events and gatherings.
